Kathryn Griffith

Kathryn “Katy” Mary Griffith went peacefully to be with the Father in His Kingdom on Saturday, February 4, 2017. Katy was preceded by both parents, Charles & Anna Smiga. She leaves behind her daughter, Ana Malia, son-in-law, Matt, two granddaughters, Ashley and Lauren, two brothers, Jon and wife Pat, Fred and wife Karen, a sister, Martha “Muffy”, and many nieces and nephews. Katy was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1946 and moved to Texas in 1975. She faithfully worked for the Environmental Protection Agency, covering Region 6 out of the Dallas, TX office, where she retired in 2007. Katy shared her life with many friends in the Hawaiian club, the Grandmother's Guild, & the Red Hat Society. Katy touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by those who knew her, however, we will find comfort that she is reunited with her parents in Heaven. Services will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Friday, February 10th at 11 am, at 2100 N. Davis Dr, Arlington, 76012.
