Kathryn B. Brewer

Mary Kathryn Brewer was born on September 26, 1953 in Harlingen, Texas, to Walter Clarkson Bowman and & Kathleen Hendricks Bowman.

Kathi graduated from UTA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. She then went on to begin a career as a public school teacher, teaching at both Martin High School and Arlington High School.

She resided in Arlington the past 50 years. Kathi was an active member of Church in the Gardens in Arlington, Texas. Kathi’s hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and designing floral arrangements.

Kathi is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Walter Bowman Jr; and 2 granddaughters, Korban P. JuliAnne Cremers and Brittany ShyAnne Brewer.

Kathi is survived by her husband, Raymond Brewer; daughter, Michelle L. Cremers & husband, Ron; daughter, Melissa K. O’Keefe; son, Nathan L. Brewer & wife, Willine; son, Timothy D. Brewer & wife, Caroline; brother, Albert B. Bowman & wife, Christine; brother, David L. Bowman & wife, Karen; sister-in-law, Norma Lou Bowman; 17 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

A Graveside Service will be held 3:30 pm, June 3, 2023 at Hawkins Cemetery in Arlington, Texas.
