Kathleen Goodwin

ARLINGTON -- Kathleen Goodwin, 92, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014, in Arlington. Graveside service: 1:30 p.m. Friday in East Memorial Gardens, Texarkana, Ark. Kathleen was born Feb. 21, 1922, in Hope, Ark. A resident of Texarkana for 55 years, she was a charter member of Unity Baptist Church (1948). Kathleen had resided in Arlington for the last 5 1/2 years. She enjoyed her family, gardening, cooking and sewing. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, John Warren Goodwin, on Oct. 27, 2002; and 10 brothers and sisters. Survivors: Daughters, Gloria Bean and husband, Peter, and Brenda Snyder and husband, Richard, of Arlington; grandsons, Greg Snyder and wife, Amy, and Jeff Snyder and wife, Caryn; and great-grandchildren, Collin, Callie and Hannah.
