Katherine Grace Limer

ARLINGTON -- Katherine "Katie" Grace Limer passed away Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 10 a.m. Monday in Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Katie was born Aug. 5, 2005, in Arlington, in the middle of a thunderstorm, to Thad and Leah Limer of Arlington. Katie was the master of sass, she always had a witty comeback or remark that had us laughing. She loved to watch her Disney Channel shows, sing and dance. In her final months she could no longer speak, but she could still hum or say a few words to her favorite songs. Katie was a student at Duff Elementary. She loved her teachers and friends and enjoyed giving her teachers a hard time. She had an infectious laugh, no one could make her laugh quite like her big sissy, Megan. Katie was our sassy ray of sunshine and will forever be missed by the people who loved her. Katie was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Limer; sister, Rebecca Limer; maternal grandparents, Ann Marye White and Harold Eugene White; and maternal great-grandparents, Grady and Dorothy Hartman. Survivors: Parents, Thad and Leah Limer; sister, Megan Limer; grandparents, Bill and Julie Limer of Arlington; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
