Justin Scott Graff

December 22, 1994 — August 6, 2024

Justin Scott Graff, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 6, 2024, in Grand Prairie, Texas, at the age of 29. Born on December 22, 1994, in Dallas, Texas, Justin’s life was a testament to joy, love, and community.

Justin’s love for animals, especially dogs, was evident to everyone who knew him. He was an avid animal lover whose heart was always open to the companionship of his four-legged friends. His passion for life extended beyond his love for animals; he was a proud member of the host team at Life Church in Arlington, where his warm smile, big hugs, and welcoming spirit touched the lives of many.

Justin was very active in the Special Olympics, where he shone brightly in several different sports for the Arlington Eagles. His enthusiasm for the sports took him to various cities, including San Antonio, College Station, and Round Rock, where he competed with pride and joy. His love for sports also included a deep affection for the Rangers, Longhorns, and the Indianapolis Colts.

Music played a significant role in Justin’s life. He found joy in listening to Blake Shelton and Christian gospel music, which brought him comfort and inspiration. Justin’s childlike wonder remained with him throughout his life. This was reflected in his belief in the magic of Santa Claus, and his favorite purple dinosaur, Barney.

Justin’s greatest love was his family. He cherished his time with his loved ones, especially his nieces and nephews, who brought him immense happiness. His family was the center of his world, and he was a source of light and love to them.

Justin is lovingly remembered by his devoted mother, Lisa McCool; his sisters Kaitlin and Hadalynn McCool; his sister Jessica and her husband Garrett Martinez, along with their children, Blake, Devon, and Hadleigh; his cherished grandparents, Jane and Albert Gilleo; his aunt and uncle Maryjane and Randy Hromyak, their children Kylie and Jacob, and Kylie’s daughter Remii; his aunt Donna, her husband Michael Lenard, and their family; his uncle Fufu and family; and his aunt Sally Graff. Justin will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Justin Scott Graff’s life was one of kindness, enthusiasm, and an unwavering love for others. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love of sports and music, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
