Julie DeAlba Hindman, 56, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 in Mansfield. Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Friday, January 29, at Grapevine Cemetery, Grapevine, Texas. Julie was born on February 22, 1964 in Japan. She was adopted by Gerry DeAlba Littlejohn and John Joseph DeAlba. She was lovingly raised by her mom and stepfather, Cecil Littlejohn. Julie grew up in Abilene, Texas where she went to middle school and high school. The family moved to Arlington where she graduated high school. She also went to cosmetology school at Ogle. She had many friends in Abilene that helped her grow and learn and shaped her into who she was today. These were lifelong friends that can never be replaced. Julie's daughter is so thankful that she learned about the beautiful power of friendship from her mom. Julie worked for more than 25 years as an office manager for Jody at Artistic Painting Company. Her interests included family, friends, cooking and making good memories. She devoted much of her time to her daughter and granddaughters. She loved to bake she always looked for new recipes to make. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Gerry Littlejohn; her brother, (Tony) John DeAlba. sister-in-law, Mary DeAlba and ex-husband, Brian Hindman and adopted father, John Joseph DeAlba. Julie is survived by her daughter, Leigh Ann Hindman and Jose Cervantes; brother, Jay DeAlba; grandchildren Sophia, Sophie, and Stella. nieces and nephews, Toni Ann DeAlba, John and Meme DeAlba, Jessica and Julius Ervine, and great-nieces and nephews, Lindsey, Anthony, Alyssa, DJ, Trey, Jayla, Ashten, Tarynn, Trenton.
