Judith Raye Shahan

Mrs. Judith (Judy) Shahan, age 84, passed away on June 7, 2024 at The Waterford on Cooper, Arlington, TX.

Judith was born in Galloway, West Virginia to William Poole and Myrtle Poole. Judith married Leslie Shahan of Fellowsville, West Virginia on September 12, 1964 in Akron, Ohio.

She is survived by Ron and Jacqueline (Denise) Takala, daughter, Euless, TX; Tommy and Annette Potter, daughter, Morristown, TN; 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.

She was kind and loving. An invitation to her home meant an enjoyable and delicious meal and time filled with laughter.

She was preceded in death by Leslie Shahan, husband, Yolanda Butler, daughter, of Castalia, Ohio; Vickie Shahan, daughter, of Huron, Ohio; William Poole, father, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; and Myrtle Poole, mother, of Huron, Ohio.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene, 1617 Milan Rd., Sandusky, Ohio.

Services for Judy Shahan will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024,10:30 AM, at at Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Keith Martinez officiating. Burial will be on Monday at Sand Hill Cemetery, 7901 Mason Rd. at 10 AM on July 8, 2024 in Sandusky, Ohio.
