Judith Messerli

Judy Messerli, 73, of Arlington, TX passed away at her home on Friday, November 17, 2017. Judy was born in Minneapolis, MN to Herbert and Ruth Koentopf on March 15, 1944. She graduated from Lakeville High School in Lakeville MN in 1962, where she met her best friend and husband Mike Messerli. She and Mike were married for more than 54 years and raised two sons who were her pride and joy. She was a wonderful woman with many interests including, antiquing, cross stitch, cooking, baking, traveling, and, of course, her granddaughters. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Ruth Koentopf, and siblings Dolores Pepera, Virgel Koentopf, Arlys Larson, and David Koentopf. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Mike, sons Brent (Shelly), and Jason; granddaughters, Chelsea and Meredith; siblings Betty Lou Hicks, and Mitchell (Phoebe) Koentopf. Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd at 2:00 P.M., with visitation following the service at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4400 W. Arkansas Ln, Arlington TX 76016.
