Judith Karen DeFazio, 80, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in Granbury, Texas.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at Wade Family Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Friday, March 31, at Wade Family Funeral Home.

Judy was born on April 11, 1942, in Cleveland, OH, to James Wilke Russell and Martha Jane Rutter Russell. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker and mother. She also enjoyed working at her family’s Italian restaurant, Carmello’s. She was very proud of the family she raised and loved spending time with them. She was caring, giving, loving, and always available.

She loved watching sports and classic movies, reading, and playing board games. More than anything, she enjoyed making memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Martha, and siblings, James, Barbara, Kathleen, Deborah, and Martin.

Survivors: Sons, Don (Glenda) and Tony (Nicole); daughter, Deana (Kenneth); brother, Dan; sisters, Joyce and Janice; grandchildren, Meghan (Luke), Amanda (Cooper), Madison (Cooper), Hayden (Tracy), Morgan(Colton), Stevie (Garrett), Kennedy (Dylan), Alex, Natalie, Jeffrey, Moises; great-grandchildren, Parker, Hallie, and Mia; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org.
