Joycelynne Patricia Sims

It is with profound sadness that the Sims family announces the passing of Joycelynne P. Sims of Arlington, Texas. She peacefully passed at the age of 74 years on February 28, 2023. Joycelynne went home to her Lord surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Joycelynne leaves behind her loving husband, Darrell of 55 years, her two children, Michelle and Christopher, her grandchildren, Scott and Kristen, her great-grandchild, her brother, John and her sister, Sharon, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Joycelynne will be fiercely missed. Love you, mom!

The grave-side service will be held on March 16, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the DFW National Cemetery.

The family requests flowers to be sent to Wade’s Funeral Home.
