Joyce Hilbun Ray

Joyce Hilbun Ray, 90, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Arlington, Tx. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, friend and colleague to all that knew and loved her. She was born on Friday, April 3, 1931 in Big Sandy, Tx to John and Ellie Hilbun. Joyce attended Arlington High School and graduated in 1949. Joyce and Bobby Wayne Ray got married on Saturday, October 20, 1951. She resided in Arlington 67 years after marriage. Joyce volunteered with Arlington Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for 30 years. She was also a member of Widowed Persons Service of Tarrant County for 10 years. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Bartley and husband Brad; son, Doug Ray and wife Connie; granddaughters, Rochelle Tijerina and husband Manuel; Linsey Ray and Raylyn Bartley; great granddaughters, Jordan Tijerina, Reagan Tijerina and Rylee Bartley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wayne Ray; parents, Ellie and John Hilbun; brothers, Carl Hilbun and Rex Hilbun. Services: The visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00pm on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
