Josephine M. Feidler

Josephine M. Zaffino Feidler, Age 87, formerly of Sheffield, PA, died peacefully on September 6th after an extended illness.

Josephine began her life on July 25, 1936 in Morrison, PA as the daughter of Italian immigrants Bruno and Mary Carmella Zaffino. Jo, as she was called, married Ronald Feidler in 1957 with whom she had two children, Barbara Feidler Rapier of Arlington, TX and David Feidler formerly of Barnes, PA. In 1983, Jo moved from Sheffield and joined her daughter and her family in Arlington, TX where she lived and worked in retail at Stein Mart until 2003 when she moved with her daughter and her family to Michigan. In 2015, Jo along with her daughter and her family returned to Arlington, Texas where she lived until her passing.

Jo was a devoted Catholic and was an active member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church and choir in Arlington, TX.

Jo was a very devoted mother, mother-in-law and grandmother to her grandchildren, Jennifer Rapier of Atlanta, GA, Ryan Feidler of Saybrook, PA and Katherine Feidler of Ft. Worth, TX. She is preceded in death by her son, David Feidler and siblings Stella Wenzel, Lena Piehuta, Samuel Zaffino, Louis Zaffino, Ned Zaffino, Angelina Kujava, Bernice Zaffino, Frank Zaffino. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and three great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Arlington, TX on Wednesday, September 27th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Warren, PA.
