ARLINGTON -- Joseph "Joe" Corwin Pletcher, 45, passed away on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, in Arlington.
Memorial service: 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, the Rev. Bobby Bridges officiating.
Joe was born Aug. 5, 1967, in Tulsa, Okla., to Roger L. Pletcher and Carolyn Molloy Pletcher. He was raised in Richardson, Garland and Farmers Branch. Joe graduated from South Garland High School. He formerly worked at Fitz and Floyd and Cookworks.
Joe was a member of First Baptist Church of Dallas and the Republican Party; he tithed faithfully to each. A resident of Arlington for the past three years, he enjoyed traveling, landscaping, yardwork, and old Hollywood movies.
Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Molloy Pletcher, in 1997; and a sister, LeeAnn Gowens, in 2012.
Survivors: Father, Roger Pletcher; partner of 10 years, Joey Hoover; brother, Scott Pletcher and wife, Dawn; nephews, Michael and Jeremy Gowens; nieces, Mackenzie and Morgan Pletcher; his beloved dogs, Mandi and Allie; and a host of friends.
