Jose Humberto Gomez-Leon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jose (Joe) Humberto Gomez-Leon on November 5, 2024.

Jose (Joe) was born on March 19,1969 in El Paso, Texas to Armando Gomez-Leon and Yolanda Gonzalez.

Joe loved music and to make people laugh, he was always willing to help those in need and was mechanically incline fixing everything. Joe was a devoted father; always wanting to be with his children taking them camping or fishing and car shows. 

Joe was a professional truck driver for about 10 years. He always wanted to his own truck and finally achieved his dream in owning one. 

Preceded in joining the Lord: mother, Yolanda Gonzalez; grandmother, Celia Balderama; and brother, Luis Gomez-Leon. 

Survived by son, Joseph Gomez-Leon; daughter, Alina Gomez-Leon;  Along with father, Armando Gomez-Leon; stepmother, Martha Gomez-Leon; brothers, Armando Gomez-Leon, Martín Gomez-Leon, Ramón Gomez-Leon, and David Gomez-Leon; sisters, Yolanda Gomez-Leon, Kristina Jimenez, and Amanda Gomez-Leon; and several loving nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Wade Funeral Home 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway Arlington Texas 76013.Service will be on Saturday, November 23rd between 4pm and 8pm with Rosary starting at 7pm.
