Jose Cruz Padron

Jose Cruz Padron Alvarado, age 57, passed away on June 17, 2024. He was born on September 13, 1966, in Vallecito de la Cruz, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, to Vicente Padron and Maria Marcos Alvarado.

Jose’s life was a testament to hard work and dedication. He was employed in both the landscaping and bakery industries, where he was known for his meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic. His colleagues and customers alike appreciated his craftsmanship and dedication.

Beyond his professional life, Jose had a profound love for horses and cars. His passion for these hobbies was well-known among his family and friends, and he spent countless hours enjoying and caring for them. His enthusiasm was infectious, often bringing joy to those around him.

Jose’s family was the center of his world. He was married to the love of his life, Zenaida Vanegas Torres, with whom he shared many cherished memories. Their bond was a source of strength and comfort throughout their years together.

Jose is survived by his children, Eleuterio Padron, Jose Luis Padron, Gloria Estefan Padron, and Gustavo Padron; his sister, Estefana Padron; and his brothers, Domingo Padron, Catarino Padron, Justimiano Padron, Amando Padron, Feliciano Padron, Vicente Padron, and Rosalio Padron. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Josefina Padron and Gloria Alberta Padron.

Jose will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of hard work, passion, and love for his family will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have been part of his life.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 20, from 5-9 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. A funeral mass will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2021 New York Avenue, Arlington. Interment will follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale.
