Jonathan Jay “Jon” Workman, 39, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 in Arlington. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 9, at Fielder Church, 2011 S. Fielder Rd., Arlington with Rev. Jerry Morris officiating. Interment to follow services. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Jon was born on April 7, 1978 in Sharon, PA to Jay Herman Workman and Gretchen Louise McDonald Workman. He was raised in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School in 1996. Jon was a salesman/project manager in the fire protection industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, cooking and all sports. Jon loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Survivors: Parents, Jay and Gretchen Workman; brothers, Brian Workman and wife, Sunny Slaughter Workman, and Matthew Workman; nephews, Preston, Cooper, and Knox; partner, Toni Orlando Alverson, and her children, Taylor, Tanner, and Teagan.
