Jon Shannon Greever

Jon S. Greever (Jon Jon, Yoda) went to be with his heavenly Father on 04/12/2020. Jon was born on February 11, 1967 in Lynchburg VA. He is survived by his wife Pamela Greever and his two sons, James and Dalton Greever of Arlington TX. He is also survived by his parents Brenda and James Greever of Low Moor, VA, sister Dawn Hope Greever, brother Shawn and wife Susan Greever, sister Joey Barricks, sister Bettie and husband Jason McCulley, brother Josh Barricks, sister Lydia and husband Adam Hall in addition to many nieces and nephews. Jon is preceded in death by his brother Raymond Scott Greever and nephew Ian Hall. Jon married Pam on June 11, 1994 and they had 2 sons together. They began their life together in Grand Prairie, Tx. When they met, he was an auto mechanic at Sears and then worked at Mayfield Road Baptist Church and most recently worked at Bell Helicopter as a Lead Finish Inspector. Jon was a former member of First Response Search and Rescue and was a Master Mason with the Grand Lodge of TX. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved doing this with his boys. He enjoyed going to church to help run the kitchen with his friends, along with cooking and smoking meats for family gatherings and sharing with neighbors. Jon enjoyed riding his Harley and going to rally's in Austin, TX and Fayetteville, AR with his friends. He had completed his bachelor's degree in Psychology, and was working on his Master's with plans of applying for a PhD program. He had a great sense of humor, always ready with a joke, loved to help others and offer advice. He was a wonderful husband and great Dad to his boys and treasured time spent with his nephews Jayden, Micah, and Samuel and niece Alex. Jon will be deeply missed by his family and friends who loved him very much.
