Jon D. Stotts, 70, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 in Dallas, Texas.

Memorial Service: 3 p.m. Monday, March 13, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Jon was born on November 15, 1952 in Van Buren, Arkansas to George Raymond Stotts and Phyllis Christine Hoyle Stotts. He worked as a Texas Tech Police officer and served for 5 years as an Arlington Police Department officer. Jon also owned his own excavating service.

He was a member of Lake Church in Arlington. Jon enjoyed all genres of music and loved seeing live music. His favorite bands were ZZ Top and Joe Cocker. He enjoyed his gun collection and was an avid Texas Tech fan.

Jon was a selfless individual with a giving heart. He talked to everyone and never met a stranger. Jon dearly loved his family and grandchildren. He was always there for his family and always took care of their wants and needs. He will be dearly missed.

Jon was preceded in death by his father, George Raymond Stotts.

Survivors: Wife, Monique Marie Champagne Stotts; son, David Stotts; daughter, Joni Stotts Howard; mother, Phyllis Hoyle Stotts; brother, George W. Stotts and wife, Penny; grandchildren, Addi, Micah, and his extra grandchild, Olivia; nephews, Josh Stotts, Nathan Stotts and Zach Stotts; and numerous other family members and friends.
