Jon Ashley Webb

September 11, 1966 — August 13, 2021

Jon "Ash" Ashley Webb went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on August 13, 2021. He was a man of exceptional character, his servant's heart and love for the Lord was evident in all he did. What he enjoyed most was spending time with the love of his life, his favorite person and best friend, his wife Heather. Ash loved like no other, he had a quiet strength and with one big hug made the world melt away. Their latest adventure was settling into their new home and acreage. He could often be found zipping around on his Kubota tractor preparing the land for the workshop he designed, garden, a sunset viewing area, and toad pond. During a break he would sit and enjoy the beauty of God's creation, dreaming of new inventions and what was next. He loved to serve in various church hospitality ministries and volunteered at the Fort Worth Food Bank. His smile, humor and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on those he served. Ash was gifted with many talents and hobbies that encompassed both the logical and creative. Whether cooking, smoking meats, woodworking, jewelry making, cad designs, 3D printing and drawing future projects. The final product always brought joy to all he shared his gifts with. He cherished the time spent with his family and brought a unique goofiness to many family gatherings. He treasured his early morning chats with Dad, Jon, and Mom, Kay, on his way to work. As a good big brother, he enjoyed teasing his sister Audra and getting into antics together. He had a new taunt for Blah (nephew Blake) and monkey niece (Skylar) always in fun and with much love. Inside jokes with nephews Nathaniel and Caleb, texting crazy photos and talking nonsense. He delighted in making nieces Emily and Madeline belly laugh. Ash is survived by his wife of over 10 years, Heather Webb, his father Jon Webb, his mother Kay Webb, his sister Audra Millhouser, and numerous aunts, uncles, brothers-in law, sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with many great friends. His absence on earth has left a hole in our hearts - but we take comfort in this, as believers in Jesus we will be united once again in a glorious Heavenly reunion. Due to the devastating impact of Covid the family will hold a private celebration of life in Ash's honor. Please leave a memory, pictures, or funny story you experienced with Ash. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand." John 10:27-29
