Burleson -- Joey Gasca was born on Sept 18, 1959 in Fort Worth, Texas to Frank and Grace Gasca. Joey married Karen Brown Gasca on August 19, 1989. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joey's Go fund Me Account to help offset medical and funeral costs. Joey was a graduate of OD Wyatt High school, Class of 1978, where he was an All-District Football Letterman. He was a General Manager at SuperSurface for 17 years. Prior to that, he was involved in a family business. Joey was an amazing husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. He was a one of a kind guy that would light up a room with a simple smile and open arms. He was a beautiful soul and the rock to his family, so brave and giving he would give you the shirt off of his back. Joey enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Grace Gasca, and father-in-law, Taylor Brown. Survivors: Wife Karen Gasca; son, John Ashley Edwards; daughter, Lindsey Gasca Gaisser; brother, Frankie Gasca; sisters, Esther Marie Stedman & Doris Silva, and spouses; grandchildren, Dryden Landrey Edwards, Peyton Ashley Edwards, Holden Riley Edwards, Phoenix Taylor Logan, Bronson Wirth Gaisser, Azrael Storm Gaisser; and multiple nieces and nephews.
