Joel Clifton Bailey

Joel Clifton Bailey, 66, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at his home in Fort Worth, Texas. Joel was born on July 1, 1952, in Bonifay, Florida to Carey Clifton and Hester Louise (Griffin) Carter. Joel was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His wife Susan, of 19 years was his everything. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. Joel began his career in the US Air Force as a SGT and continued on to become a Master Plumber with 46 years in the industry. His work ethic and spirit allowed for a loyal group of customers to call on him time after time during the three decades he lived as a Fort Worth resident. He enjoyed collecting coins and had mastered the art of smoking meats for his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know him. Joel was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lora Barrow. Joel is survived by his wife, Susan; sons, Donovan Bailey, Clifton Bailey and wife, Miste, and Aaron Bailey and wife, June; daughters Lisa Rogers and husband, Mitchell and Pam Bailey-Good and husband, Jason; brothers, William Bailey and wife , Noelia (Cookie), Thomas Bailey and David Bailey; sisters, Linda Jordan and husband, Phil, Sheila Schnaubert and husband Johnny Samarripas, and Tammy Allison and husband, James.
