Joel Brett Carter, 58, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019 in Arlington. Funeral: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington with Reverend Bobby Bridges officiating. Interment: Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 4, at the funeral home. Joel was born on March 15, 1960 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Claudie George Carter and Daphene Wise Carter. He was a certified welder and worked for Union Iron Workers assembling pre-cast erectors. Survivors: Son, Joel Carter; daughters, Jennifer Carter and Amber Carter; brothers, Michael Carter and wife, Patti, and Kevin Carter; sister, Janet Christie; grandchildren, Avery Carter, Romeo Williams, Ashton Lechon, Kingstin Williams, Presley Carter, James Carter and Jay Williams; great-granddaughter, Amara Williams; nieces, April Jurisch, Sara Carter and Emily Carter; grand-nephew, Astin Jurish; and grand-niece, Ariel Jurish.
