ARLINGTON-Joe Ann Lane, 80, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 in Arlington. Graveside Service: 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 17, at Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington with Reverend Bobby Bridges officiating. Visitation: 9-11 a.m. Monday, April 17, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Center. Joe Ann was born on June 9, 1936 in Stamford, Texas to James Chester Elmore and Ruby Lilly Densmore Elmore. She was a resident of Arlington for 49 years. Joe Ann loved to bake and watch Westerns on tv. She dearly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always there for them and enjoyed family reunions. Joe Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 43 years, Billy Joe Lane in 1992. Survivors: Son, Lincoln Dwayne Lane; daughter, Tonya Dyann Batchelor and husband, Shawn; sister, Linda Kay Turbyfill; grandchildren, Kristen Fortney and husband, Justin, Brandon Batchelor, and Joshua Lane and wife, Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Elissa Lane, J.T.
