With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Seals, who left us on January 3, 2025, just days shy of his 78th birthday. Born on January 16, 1947, Joe was a proud resident of Arlington, Texas, and a dedicated member of the United States Air Force, where he honorably served his country throughout his life.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Seals, who stood by his side through all of life's joys and challenges. His kindness, strength, and unwavering support of those around him will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, who were deeply fortunate to share in his life.
He is also survived by his two children: Stephen C. Seals and wife Amy Seals, and Roxane Seals Carter and husband Cedrick Carter. Joe’s grandchildren—Brock Durham, McKenzie Durham, and Madison Seals—along with his great-grandson, McCasson Durham, and his brother, Walter R. Seals, also mourn his passing. His family and friends will cherish his memory as a wellspring of love and inspiration.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local veterans' organization in Joe's honor, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service and community.
Though Joe’s presence will be deeply missed, his impact on those who knew him will endure, and his spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
