Joe Herrera Villarreal, 60, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in Plano. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, January 25, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: 9-10 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Joe was born on July 31, 1959 in Premont, Texas to Charles Villarreal and Maria Herrera Villarreal. A longtime resident of Arlington, he worked in construction for many years in the Metroplex. Joe enjoyed fishing, kayaking, hunting and the outdoors. Survivors: Son, Victor Villarreal and wife, Cheryl; daughter, Valerie Villarreal and husband, Bob Smith; brothers, Jimmy, Leroy, Bobby and Troy; sisters, Blanca, Sylvia, Elizabeth; former wife and mother of his children, Rebecca Pope; and grandchildren, Reign, Dakota, Tate, Zach, Josh and Tara.
