Joan Neubauer Fox

ARLINGTON -- Joan Neubauer Fox, 80, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014. Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, 1200 S. Collins, Arlington. Joan was born in Elizabeth, N.J., on Feb. 7, 1934, to Henry and Matilda Neubauer. She graduated from Roselle Park High School and married her classmate Paul E. Fox in 1956. Joan began working for Bell Laboratories in 1951, left to raise her three children and returned to her career in 1976. She retired in 1997 and relocated from Warren Township, N.J., to Arlington in 1997 as well. Her family was the center of her life and she thrived whenever they were all together. Survivors: Those left to celebrate her life include her husband of 58 years, Paul; children, Eric of Ringoes, N.J., Leslie Clarke (Jack) of Kennesaw, Ga., and Paul F. (Joanne) of Mansfield; grandchildren, Emily and Aidan Fox, Patrick, Sara and Nick Clarke, and David, Jared and Elizabeth Fox; extended family; and many, many friends.
