Jo Ann Loe

Jo Ann Loe, 86, of Arlington, Texas, peacefully passed away on July 4, 2020. She was born to the late Hubert and Ima Johnson, February 19, 1934 in Stanton, Texas. Jo Ann graduated from Odessa High School in 1952. She married the late Burnett Loe on September 4, 1953 where they lived together for 33 years in Odessa and Arlington, Texas. Jo Ann worked beside her husband in his building business, raising their two children, until he retired and they began traveling the world before his death in April 1986. After his death, one of her greatest pleasures was spending time at her condo in South Padre Island. She called it her "happy place". Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Janet Rhodes and her husband Bryan. Her son, Steve Loe and his wife Donice all of Arlington, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Justin Rhodes and his wife Tiffany of Calabasas, California and their two children, Inara and Guinevere. Kristin Rhodes Rae and her husband Kekoa of Allen, Texas and their two children, Brianna and Annabelle. Tyler Loe and his wife April of Arlington, Texas and their three children, Reese, Trace and Stevi. Brady Loe and his wife Mandy of Arlington, Texas and their two children, Emma and Masyn. She was very proud of her children, grand-children and great grand-children. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. (stjude.org) A visitation will be held Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 9 am to 10 am at Wade Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 10:30 am at Moore Memorial Gardens.
