Jessie Mae Bolton McCanlies, 93, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Arlington, Texas. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the funeral home. The family would appreciate it if everyone wore pink or purple to the service. Honorary Pallbearers: Nephews. Jessie was born on October 28, 1927 in Turney, Texas to Richard and Viola Bolton. She was a homemaker and a press maker for a printing company. Jessie enjoyed reading her bible, sewing, cooking and being a grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Ruben Bolton Sr. and Viola Bolton; 4 sisters and 3 brothers; her beloved husband of 64 years, Wilburn McCanlies; and her beloved dog, Gracie Girl. Survivors: One daughter, Trudy Hunter of Arlington; grandson, Todd Hunter and wife, Jennifer; one great-granddaughter, Jessie Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
