Jerry Santos Manalansan, 50, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Arlington, Texas.
Visitation: 10 -11 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington.
Visitation: 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, at the funeral home.
Jerry was born on October 16, 1970 in Pampanga, Philippines to Julian Manalansan and Lolita Santos Manalansan. A resident of Arlington, Texas for the past 16 years, he previously lived in Hawaii and
he grew up in Bladensburg, Maryland.
While residing in Maryland, he worked full-time as a graphic artist for Navy Federal Credit Union.
Jerry also had a part-time business of making flower arrangements, He arranged flowers for numerous weddings and events. He also loved to arrange flowers for church special occasions.
Jerry was known for his authentic Philippine dishes and his baking skills.
He loved cooking for anyone and everyone. He was always looking to help others in any way he could.
He was a kind, generous, jovial, and loving father and husband. His presence will be missed but his energy will always be remembered.
Jerry dedicated his life to his church duties as a finance officer and deacon at the Iglesia Ni Cristo, in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Lolita Manalansan; brothers, Jonard Manalansan, Joel Manalansan, Jovan Manalansan, and sister Elizabeth Enguillado.
Survivors: Beloved wife, Rodora Hayag Manalansan; sons, Jacob and Jordan Manalansan; daughter, Kayla Manalansan; brother, Andy Manalansan and his wife, Andrea; sisters Raquel and Jennifer Manalansan; and numerous nieces and nephews from Maryland, Virginia and Hawaii.
