Jeraldine Pride

Jeraldine Pride went home to her Loving Savior Jesus on Monday February 22, 2021 at the age of 83. A visitation will be held from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Wade Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Woods Chapel Baptist Church, Arlington Texas. A graveside will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler Texas. Jeraldine was born on November 27, 1937 in Borger, TX to Claude and Elsie Cox. She graduated from Wheeler High School in 1956 and soon after married Francis “Sonny” Pride on March 24, 1957. Sonny and Jeraldine Loved each other dearly and raised 4 children together Ronnie, Rhonda, Rickey, and Randy. Jeraldine, “Grandma”, loved to serve. She welcomed anyone and everyone, but she loved to take care of her family from Sonny all the way to the last grandchild or great grandchild; she always made sure everyone was loved. She was known for her big heart, sweet kindness, beautiful smile and laugh, tight hugs, and a seemingly never-ending supply of homemade chocolate chip cookies. She took great pride in her family. She loved her husband deeply, her siblings loyally, her children unconditionally, and all her grandchildren proudly. She was a faithful follower of Christ and a picture of his grace filled love to all she encountered. She was preceded in death by her Father Claude and Mother Elsie, and Her brother Marvin and Sister Joyce. She is survived by her Husband Sonny, her Four Children, son Ronnie and Wife Lori, daughter Rhonda and Husband Rob, Son Rickey and Wife Shelly, Son Randy, and Brothers Claude “Jr.” Cox and James Glenn Cox.
