She was born in Dallas, Texas on March 27, 1947, to a loving mother and father Alice Maxine Wells and the late Marvin Jasper Wells. Her father was in the military so her childhood was spent traveling all over the world, from living in Germany and France to living across the United States with her brothers Phill Wells and Robert Wagner. Jennifer attended several different high schools in her family's travels making memorable experiences and lifelong friends along the way, she finished in the first graduating class of Sam Houston High School in 1965, which she was very proud of. She married Kerry Alton Smith on September 3, 1966, they were married over 51 years and truly became each others soul-mates. They loved to travel and have traversed the length and breadth of Texas and most of the United States, making more lifelong friends along their travels in life together.
Jennifer was a beloved wife, mother, sister, friend, daughter and cook extraordinaire. If you asked anyone who had ever known Jenny, they would tell you that she was the nicest and sweetest person they had ever met.
