Jeletta "Orbie" Von Tungeln

Jeletta Orbiedean Von Tungeln, 79, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at her home in Arlington, Texas. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at First Christian Church, 400 S Barker Avenue, El Reno, Oklahoma 73036. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Christian Church of EL Reno, Oklahoma in remembrance of Orbie. For she was raised In this church and was married in this church. Orbie was born on October 26, 1938 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Orbie Blackmon and Jenita (Mansell) Blackmon. She was raised in El Reno and completed High School there in 1957. She attended Oklahoma State University and graduated as a RN in 1975. One of her favorite pastimes was going to the lake, spending time with friends and family. She was a devoted Christian and loved volunteering at her church. Orbie was a devoted spouse, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker, and friend. Survivors: Orbie is survived by her Husband of 60 years, Jerry Von Tungeln; her three children, Kirk Von Tungeln of Oklahoma City, Jay Von Tungeln and family of Arlington, Texas, and Danielle Von Tungeln and family of Orange Grove, Texas; including with eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
