Jeffrey Darrel Fishback

Jeffrey Darrel Fishback, 57, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at his home in Arlington, Texas. A service will be on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church, 1400 S. Cooper St, Arlington, TX 76013 with Reverend Mike Love officiating. Burial will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. Jeffrey was born on March 28, 1962 in Odessa, Texas to Darrel Rex and Dorothy Joyce (Hayslip) Fishback. Jeffrey was born with Down Syndrome and lived past the prime of his life, making the most of every day and later developed Alzheimer's Disease. The family would like for everyone to know that Jeffrey's brain was donated to the Texas Tech (Guns Up) Garrison Brain Bank. The research of Down Syndrome coupled with Dementia will be valuable in helping others that struggle with the same difficulties in life that Jeffrey had. They wish to thank All Star Hospice/Home Health Care for all of their hard work with Jeffrey's care. A special thanks to Jana Collins, the owner of All Star Hospice & Home Health Care. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrel Fishback and Daddy Glenn White; brothers, Terry Fishback, Tim Stroope and brother-in-law, Walter Craig. Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Dorothy White; one brother, Mark Fishback; one sister, Rhonda Craig; sister-in-law Cheryl Fishback and numerous nephews and nieces.
