Jeffrey Vince Anderson

Jeffrey Vince Anderson, 76, passed away on October 25, 2024, in Ft Worth Texas. Born on March 16, 1948 in Aurora, IL to Vincent and Glenrose (Colver) Anderson.

He retired from the United States Army at the rank of Master Sergeant where he worked full time in small arms repair as well as being in the Army Reserve and served in active duty during Operation Desert Shield. He was passionate about service to his country and was active in the American Legion after his retirement.

He was an avid outdoorsman in his earlier years that enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and camping with his boys. He also loved reading, history, gardening, grilling and all things Texas, including Dallas Cowboys football.

He is survived by his wife, Rita, of Arlington, TX; children, Robert (Amy Gengler) of Chilicothee, IL, Lisa Paiz (Joe) of Arlington, TX, Marlene Bockler (Tyler) of McKinney, TX, Chris (Jeannie Krakow) Anderson of Peoria, IL, Mike (Heather) Anderson of Mackinaw, IL; sister, Betsy of Wyoming, IL; grandchildren, Baylee Shipley, Taelor Moore, Kelci Anderson (Brennan Kuhlman), Simon Bockler, Lucy Bockler, Mason Anderson, and Sophie Anderson; great grandchildren, Greyson Kuhlman and Jetson Paiz.

Memorial Service will be held on November 21, 2024 at 2pm at Wade Funeral Home and Crematory in Arlington, Texas.
