Jeanne Elaine Harlin

Jeanne Elaine Harlin, 66, passed away on September 8th, 2022. Jeanne was born on February 26, 1956 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Arthur Robert (Bob) Loomer and Mary Louise Wilson Loomer. She grew up in Arlington, Texas and graduated from Lamar High School in 1974.  After graduating from Bryan Institute, Jeanne became a Certified Nurse’s Aid.

After high school Jeanne wed and became the mother of two sons. In 1988, Jeanne started dating Glenn Springer and they would remain together for almost 34 years. Together and with family, Jeanne and Glenn traveled all over the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe.

Jeanne enjoyed a variety of activities including birthdays, holidays, Texas local fairs and amusement parks. Throughout her life Jeanne loved music. She loved singing, music concerts, live theater, and musical movies and TV shows. While listening to music on the radio, she would often sing along.

Jeanne was kind, loving and very giving. She loved her family immensely and loved doing for others. She had a heart of gold and she will be deeply missed.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Robert (Bob) Loomer.  Jeanne is survived by her mother Mary Louise Wilson Loomer, her sister Rebecca Tendy, her brothers Arthur Robert (Bob) Loomer Jr. and Mark Loomer, and her partner Glenn Springer. Jeanne is also survived by her son John Harlin, daughter-in-law Nora Harlin, grandson Logan Harlin, nieces Heather Hale and Andrea Smith, nephew Scott Fitzgerald, two great-nieces and two great-nephews.

A visitation and memorial service for Jeanne will be held at the Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 West Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76013 on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm and the service will start at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, TX 76012.
