Jay R. Tidmore

June 4, 1938 — January 3, 2023

Jay Tidmore born in Anadarko OK June 4, 1938. Raised in Carnegie OK, and graduated high school in 1956. Attended Southwestern State University with a B.S. degree in chemistry in 1961.
Served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963 where he met the love of his life Carolyn Sims and married in 1962. Moved to Tulsa, OK and worked for North American Aviation. He was blessed with twin sons Michael and Forrest. Moved to Dallas in 1967 with L.T.V. and onto California in 1969. Spent 16 years in Simi Valley CA. Retired from L.T.V. in 2001. Jay lived life to the fullest, in retirement he and Carolyn traveled the world. He was a gentleman, fantastic husband, father, uncle, and a loyal friend. He loved Jesus with all his heart.
Jay passed away peacefully with his family around him on January 3, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mike Tidmore; and by his parents, Forrest and Daisy Tidmore.
Survivors: Wife of 60 years, Carolyn Tidmore; son, Forrest Tidmore; Sister-in-law, Peggy (Larry) Alberts; Brother-in-law, Harvey (Sandy) Sims; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
