Jason Troy Pollei

Jason Troy Pollei, 45, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2023 in Haslet, TX.

Jason was born in Killeen, Texas on September 27, 1977 to Nancy McCabe & John Martinez. He received a master’s degree in criminology from the University of Texas and worked for over 20 years in law enforcement.

On December 15, 2020, Jason married the love of his life, Jeri and they remained married until his death.

Jason loved his family, including his dogs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors. Jason lived his life as a fine Christian man and he spoke God’s word to everyone he touched.

Jason was preceded in death by his son, Jason Stone Lester; parents Nancy McCabe and John Martinez; maternal grandparents, Alvin T. and Nellie Jo Netterblad and paternal grandparents, Frank and Eva Martinez.

Jason is survived by his wife, Jeri Pollei; brother, Dallas Martinez; children, Justin Pollei, Jaci Dawn Lester and Anthony Long; in-laws, Claudia and Michael Turner; sisters-in-law Brandi Bastas and husband, Kris Bastas and Holli Richerson and husband, Jon Richerson; niece Marhli; and nephews Zachary, Coby, and Graham.

A Memorial Service for Jason will be held on Saturday, July 15 at 11:00am at Gospel City Church in Pantego, Texas.
