Jason Michael Tandy went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Jason is survived by the love of his life, Samantha Lee Tandy; his parents, Michael and Nelda Tandy, of Glen Rose, Texas; his brother, Jon Tandy; his sister, Jennifer Jimenez; his niece, Hailey Mendez and husband Fernando, and his great niece, Kinsley Mendez; his Father- and Mother-in-Loves, David and Michelle Edwards; brother-in-love, David Edwards and wife Allison; his niece Eleanor; sister-in-love Michelle Cannon and husband Curtis; and nieces Mila and Caroline, and nephew Coleman.
Jason was born in Fort Worth on May 26, 1975, and graduated from Permian High School in Odessa in 1993. He was a member of the PHS Band and played the tuba. He also attended Odessa College and received an Associates Degree. He met the love of his life, Samantha, in Odessa and after a brief courtship, they married on March 1, 2007. They made their home in Arlington, Texas. Samantha works for the law firm of Wick Phillips Gould & Martin, LLP, and Jason worked for UPS.
Jason was a fun-loving, vibrant young man. He had a great sense of humor and a big heart for all his friends. He loved Samantha and they had 13 wonderful years together. He was an avid Star Wars fan, loved movies and enjoyed playing putt-putt, pool, darts and board games. He loved the Lord with his whole heart and wanted others to experience the joy of being in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
The family will have a private grave-side service after the first of the year in Glen Rose, Texas, and a celebration of life service early in 2021.
