Jared Charles Crumpler
April 10, 1990 – January 20, 2024

Jared passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 20th at his home in Irving, Texas. He was a Christian who knew his Lord Jesus Christ. Today he is in heaven in a better place.

Jared was born in Paris, Texas, the youngest of three boys, to Deborah and Charles Crumpler. His brothers Jordan and Justin Crumpler were his constant companions through much of his life. The last two years of his life, Elena Wang was his girlfriend and best buddy. They shared many dreams of the future.

Jared attended Pine Tree schools in Longview Texas and graduated with two degrees from University of North Texas (UNT), Denton, Texas. His first degree was in Business, which he used in his first job with Fidelity Investments in Southlake, Texas as a financial representative and stockbroker. He passed both the Series 7 and Series 63 financial exams. Later he worked at TIAA Cref, as a retirement specialist. His true desire was to create and build things, so he left TIAA Cref to attend UNT again; and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He then took the FE-EIT engineering in training exam and passed it the first time.

In January 2022 he accepted a position at NetVia as a CAD/CAM engineer. He worked in circuit board technology creating instructions for various automated machines involved with fabrication. He loved working with the other engineers and had a great relationship with his bosses Brady and Jeff.

Jared had a huge love of sports, especially tennis, skiing, ice hockey, pickleball, and sporting clays. He was a committed fan of the Dallas Stars Hockey Team, attending games starting from early grade school. After moving to the Dallas area, he began playing on ice hockey teams with his brothers. He started with the Skateful Dead, followed by McKinney Moose, Jagrbombs, and finally the RCBP Hockey Team.

Aside from work responsibilities, he loved playing with his Golden Retriever dog Zero. He shared the last two years of his life with Elena Wang, his girlfriend. They had planned a special ski trip in February and an engagement announcement.

Jared was a beloved son, brother, and friend to many who knew him. His life was too short, and he will be greatly missed. He will be buried in Rosewood Cemetery, Longview, Texas in a family plot.
