Janice Colleen Mcgrath

Janice McGrath, age 86, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2023.

Janice was the daughter of Lester & Mildred Baxter, born February 13, 1937 in Waverly, Kansas. She spent all her childhood in Waverly and was raised on the Baxter farm. She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Donald McGrath, on August 9, 1958 and they were married for 64 blissful years. She loved gardening and making their house beautiful and was always ready to welcome family and friends. Janice never met a stranger or passed up a chance to help someone. Janice was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church since its establishment in 1977 and she loved beautifying the flower beds at the Church. She treasured her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchild and embraced every moment with them.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Lester & Mildred Baxter and her sister, Virginia Cuadra.

Survivors include her husband Donald; sons Michael (Kristie) and Mark (Patrice); daughter Donna; grandchildren Dustin, Matt (Tyler), Tommy, Chyle (Kirsten) and Branden and great grandchild Blake.
