Jane Brem Duff, 83, died on November 2, 2020 with her family by her side in Arlington, Texas.
Visitation for friends and family will be on Friday, November 6, 2020, 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Chapel of Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Tx 76013. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 12:30 pm at the funeral home with the burial to follow at 2:00 pm at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N Davis, Street, Arlington.
Jane Brem Duff, the daughter of Agnes and Morris D. Brem, was born on September 24, 1937 in Greenville, Texas.
She graduated from Arlington High School in 1954. She attended college at Texas Christian University (TCU) where she received her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1958 and her Masters of Elementary Education in 1981.
Ms. Duff was a teacher for over 30 years in the Arlington and Fort Worth Independent School Districts. Throughout her life, she was a world traveler, a pianist, and a painter. She enjoyed British comedies, puzzles and playing bridge. Her greatest pleasure, however, was spending time with her family.
Over the years, Ms. Duff was active in the Arlington Women's Club, Delta Kappa Gamma Beta Phi Chapter, Arlington Retired Teachers Association, TCU Alumni Organization and an avid supporter of the Kimball Art Museum.
She is survived by her children, Ben Duff and his spouse, Monica, William Duff and his spouse Annette and Margaret Gilbert, her brothers, M. D. Brem, John Brem and his spouse, Nancy, Also surviving Jane is her grandchildren, Kelli Chandler and spouse Kyle, Sarah Gilbert, John Gilbert, Ian Duff, Natalie Duff, Emma Duff and Jacob Blain, her niece, Mary Day and spouse, Cody and great-nephew, Taylor.
