Jamie Dalton Fox

Jamie Dalton Fox, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, from Covid. He was born on September 14, 1930 in Ballinger, Texas and was a longtime resident of San Angelo before moving to Dallas/Fort Worth in 1973. He is survived by Florence Smith Fox, wife of 69 years, 3 daughters, Cindy McCarty, husband Brad, Sheri Yates-Gallo, husband John, Marilyn Miller, husband Scot and 3 grandchildren, Dustin Yates, Allison McCarty, Rachel McCarty, 5 great grandchildren, a sister Bettye Mullins plus nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Jamie graduated from Angelo State University in accounting, after serving 3 years in the Navy. He was actively involved & passionate about his church family & playing bridge. There's nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with people he loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A family graveside service and Memorial will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Fosters Home for Children or Meals on Wheels, for whom he worked many years.
