ARLINGTON -- James Larry Plunk, 67, beloved husband, father and granddaddy, passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with Pastor Richard Plunk and the Rev. Bob Fuston officiating. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, 1210 N. Davis Drive, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Larry was born July 26, 1947, in Dallas to Colleen and James M. Plunk. Larry was a Bryan Adams Class of 1965 graduate and was actively involved with his high school alumni. He received an associate's degree in science from Dallas Baptist University and a bachelor of administration from Southern Methodist University. He worked 25 years for General Dynamics with many accomplishments before retiring.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, James M. Plunk.
Survivors: His wife of 37 years, Judy Beth Plunk; daughters, Monique Crutchfield and husband, Mike, Debby Armitage and husband, Bobby, Cecily Rodriguez and husband, Freddy, Lisa Murray and husband, Don, and Stephanie Walker and husband, Jason; mother, Colleen Plunk; brothers, Dr. Michael Plunk and wife, Carol, and Ken Plunk and wife, Jean; grandchildren, Colton, Abbie and Cason Walker, Landon and Carson Murray, Brandi and Bronson Rodriguez, and Rachele Christian; a niece and nephew; and a host of friends.
