James Keith Beard

James Keith Beard passed away December 29th, 2017 at the age of 74. Keith was a resident of Arlington, Texas. Keith was born in Lubbock, TX on Feb. 14th, 1943 to Bonnie and Odessa Beard. He grew up in Abernathy, TX, and moved to Seminole after graduation to pursue a career in radio. Keith moved to Lubbock, TX where he fathered two children and worked for Channel 11 News. He enjoyed coaching and watching his children participate in their activities. Keith later moved to Arlington, TX where he met his wife Sue. He loved traveling with Sue and loved watching his grandkids play sports. He would travel anywhere for a baseball game. Keith is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Gary (JoLynn) Beard; daughter, Teri (Glenn) Price; stepsons Chris and Nathan (Elaine) Gilbert; grandsons Skyler (Amanda) Hayes, Chandler (Nicole) Hayes; Brayden and Garrett Price; Carson, Dylan, Ethan, and Chase Gilbert; granddaughters Kelsey Beard and Taylor Gilbert; great granddaughters Cali Medrano, Scout and Scarlet Hayes; and great grandson Hudson Hayes. Keith is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bonnie and Jerry Beard. The memorial service is on January 6th and 1:00 PM at Lamar Baptist Church, Layne Hall, Arlington, Texas.
