James Ray Hinton

James Ray Hinton, 80, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Arlington. Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 27, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, at the funeral home. James was born on December 2, 1937 in Mendenhall, Mississippi to James Sol Hinton and Annie Lois Cline Hinton. He served in the U.S. Air Force. James married Ethel McFadin on June 8, 1957. He worked as a master plumber and retired in 1985 as owner of Jim's Plumbing Co. James was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Hinton; parents, Sol and Lois Hinton; and sister, Ann Matthews. Survivors: Sons, Michael Hinton and wife, Valerie and Robert Hinton; daughter, Shirley McAnally and husband, Larry; sisters, Joyce Cumberland and husband, Tommy and Fay Prigeon; grandchildren, Kimberly Hinton and husband, Michael; Sara McAnally, Shelbi Epps and husband, Jeremy, Matthew Hinton, Amanda Davis and Derrick Morales; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
