James Buck, 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Levelland, Texas to Olin and Frances Buck. The family moved to Arkansas but later returned to Texas where he resided in Arlington. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and great-uncle.
James began his career as a barber working with his parents at Buck's Barber Shop on Park Row in Arlington, Texas. Later, he owned J. Buck's Barber Shop and worked for 54 years at three different locations. He enjoyed retirement for two years but said “He missed his customers”.
He enjoyed being a member of the Christian Classic Cruiser Car Club and attending street rod events indoors and outdoors. James won numerous trophies, awards and plaques for the cars he owned through the years.
James especially loved gospel quartet music and was a member of The King's Sons Quartet that traveled on weekends to sing at churches in Texas and Oklahoma. He was a faithful follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful church member for many years. He is missed but is now well and singing with the angels and the heavenly choir.

Survivors: Wife of 51 years, Nancy Buck; son, Marc Buck, and wife, Tami; grandson, Marcus Buck; granddaughter, Haley Buck; great-granddaughter, Josie Buck; sister, Marsha Britton; niece, Kelli Malone, and husband, Brad; great-niece, Autumn Jade Malone; great-nephew, Britton James Malone; nephew, Kristopher Britton; niece, Angela Kelley, and husband, Matt; great-nephews, Logan Kelley and Dylan Kelley; aunts, Joan Wofford and Barbara Wofford; sisters-in-law, Loydean Chambers, and husband Fred; Veralyn Bridges, and husband, Dean; and numerous cousins and a host of many friends.
