ARLINGTON-James Loyd Livesay, 77, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, at Pantego Bible Church, 8001 Anderson Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76120.

Jim was born April 15, 1941 in Fort Worth to Marvin Eugene Livesay, Sr. and Sena Mae Gafford Livesay. He graduated from North Side High School then went on to study accounting at UTA. After graduating and becoming a CPA, he opened his own practice in 1971, which he continued until his time of death. He was very passionate about his work and his love for his family. Jim was active in coaching little league baseball, softball & soccer. He loved his roles in the Lamar Booster Club, Rotary Club of Arlington, and the Chamber of Commerce. He was very caring and always introduced humor to any situation he was involved in. Jim was a member of Pantego Bible Church and shared his love for God with many. One of his favorite things to do was to pass out presents to those in need at Christmas time, as he dressed as Santa. His sons served as his elves, which they will never forget.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Julia Livesay Baker and husband, Glenn; sister, Doris Livesay Mills and husband, David; and brother, Jess Hubert Livesay.
Survivors: Jim is survived by wife, Joyce Stephenson Livesay; daughter, Tammy Livesay; son, Kirk Livesay and wife, Jessica; son, Cameron Livesay; brother, Dr. Bill Ray Livesay and wife, Ann; brother, Marvin Eugene Livesay, Jr. and wife, Judy; sister-in-law, Nadine Livesay; sister-in-law, Nancy Tidwell and husband, Rex; “Furrever friend”, Moose; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
