James Lee Acosta, 31, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in Arlington, Texas.
Funeral Mass: 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 29, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5819 W. Pleasant Ridge Rd., Arlington. Interment: Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 500 Kennedale Sublett Road, Kennedale, TX 76060. Visitation: 6:00-7:30 pm, Tuesday, March 28, with a rosary beginning 7:30pm-8:00pm at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, TX 76013.
James Lee was born on January 4, 1992 in Barranquilla, Colombia to Carlos Acosta, MD and Joy Mansell Acosta. He graduated from Oakridge High School in 2010 and attended Tarrant County College. James Lee was an active member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
He loved spending time outdoors. James Lee loved the mountains, snowboarding and spending time in Colorado. He also loved to hunt and fish. He loved listening to all genres of music. James Lee loved spending time with family and friends grilling and playing video games.
He was very outgoing and talkative. He had a very positive outlook on life. James Lee had a sweet and kind spirit. He had a fun-loving and goofy personality. His presence will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Acosta, MD.
He is survived by his mother, Joy Mansell Acosta, his twin brother, Clinton Davis Acosta and siblings Charles Anthony Acosta and Martha Acosta.
