James Edward “Jim” Ware, 61, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in Dallas.
Memorial Service: 5 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Jim was born on April 29, 1962 in Dinuba, California to Udale Gene Ware and Virginia Lee Book Ware. Jim was a man of strong faith in God. He was baptized at the age of 9. He believed in God, family, and friends.
Jim attended Dinuba High School and graduated in 1980. After high school, he attended Kings River Junior College and transitioned to Harding University, which he graduated from in 1985. At Harding, he met and married the love of his life, Robin Renee Force, on November 15, 1986.
He and Robin established their first home in Fresno, California where their first daughter, Jenna, was born in 1989. Their second daughter, Jordan, was born in 1991 while living in Littleton, Colorado. Their youngest daughter, Jillian, was born in 1995 in Memphis, Tennessee. The original five was now complete.
After college, Jim worked in the paper business until he decided to pursue his graduate degree in ministry. Upon graduation, he was the Family Involvement Minister at Wooddale/Southwind, Huntsville and Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ for a total of 11 years. Jim was a people person and knew how to create long lasting relationships. He directed and led medical mission trips to Jamaica. After ministry, Jim worked for American Airlines for 15 years and loved to give exceptional customer service. He was a big influence amongst his co-workers. While at American, he also volunteered as an Ambassador for American Airlines.
He was a hard worker and great multi-tasker. He was very determined and driven. Jim started working at an early age. He was always committed and dedicated to everything he did. He was a selfless person and problem solver for others. Jim cared about people and respected his elders. He was very personable and had a great sense of humor.
He loved to shop. Jim thought you should always dress to impress, the better you look the better you feel. He always dressed sharp. He loved to travel and observe new cultures. Jim enjoyed listening to all genres of music, but especially Pentatonix and Christian music. He was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
Jim dearly loved his family and was a great “girl dad” to his three girls. He was a proud “Papa” to his grandchildren. It was very special that he had the opportunity to perform all three of his daughter’s weddings. Jim was always there for his family and was very intentional. This was evidenced when he and his daughters made special trips to find their dream wedding dresses both internationally and domestic. They will miss his encouragement and love, and having his opinion on various topics. Jim will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife Robin Ware; his parents Udale & Virgina Ware; brother Andrew Ware; daughter Jenna Tipton, husband James, and their children Ellie (7), Landon (5), Caroline (3), and Sloane (6 months); daughter Jordan Perry, husband Brandon, and their upcoming baby boy; daughter Jillian Curington and husband Jay; his in-laws Freeman and Joy Force; brother-in-law Doug and wife Debra; his nieces Kendall and Kelsey; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
