James Allen Young

James “Jay” Allen Young of Arlington, Texas passed away at the age of 64. Jay was born in Hempstead, New York to Roy and Hannah Young in June of 1957.

Jay attended and graduated from Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Jay loved to play guitar and was a fan of all sports. He especially loved watching sports with his family. He was also a member of St. Barnabas United Methodist Church.

Though he suffered with mental illness most of his life, he had a quick wit and sense of humor.

Jay is preceded in death by his father Roy Young, and brothers Roy Young II, and Bruce Young.

Jay is survived by his mother Hannah S. Young, sister Margaret Arnold (Larry Arnold), and nephews Chas Steinhausen and Michael Arnold.

He had a strong love of his family and God. His family loved him greatly and stuck by him even in difficult times. His family is at peace knowing he is finally free.
